1-We offer quick access to reknown specialists

Quick access to good healthcare in gastroenterology is important because digestive issues can be both uncomfortable and potentially serious. Prompt diagnosis and treatment can help to reduce symptoms and prevent further complications. Additionally, quick access to care can help to reduce the risk of misdiagnosis or delayed diagnosis, which can lead to more serious health problems. Moreover, it can also help to reduce the financial burden of medical bills, as early diagnosis and treatment can often be less expensive than more complex treatments.

2-We offer quick access to endoscopies and lab tests

Endoscopies are a key diagnostic tool for many digestive issues. They allow gastroenterologists to get a direct view of the digestive tract, which can help to identify the cause of symptoms and provide a more accurate diagnosis. Endoscopies can also be used to take biopsies, which can help to confirm a diagnosis and provide more information about the condition.

Endoscopies

  • Endoscopy is a medical procedure in which a doctor uses a flexible tube with a camera at one end, called an endoscope. It is used to examine the inside of a person’s body.
  • Our endoscopists use a unique technology enabling the usage of disposable material that do not usually require sedation.
  • An endoscopy is a safe procedure in which a thin, flexible tube with a camera on the end is inserted into the body to examine the digestive tract. The camera on the end of the tube allows the gastroenterologist to view the inside of the digestive tract and take pictures or videos for further examination.
  • The endoscope is inserted through the mouth, down the throat, and into the stomach and small intestine. It allows the doctor to view the inside of the digestive tract. This can help diagnose and treat conditions such as ulcers, inflammation, or abnormal growths.  The procedure is usually done under sedation and generally considered as safe.
  • The procedure typically takes between 15 and 30 minutes and is usually done on an outpatient basis.
  • They use disposable material, which make the whole process much safer and hygienic.

Colonoscopies

  • Colonoscopy is a medical procedure in which a doctor uses a flexible tube with a light and camera at one end, called a colonoscope, to examine the inside of the large intestine (colon) and rectum.
  • The colonoscope is inserted through the rectum and advanced through the entire colon, allowing the doctor to view the inside of the colon on a monitor.
  • The procedure is typically done to detect colon cancer, colon polyps, or other problems such as inflammation, bleeding or abnormalities.
  • It is usually done under sedation and generally considered as safe.
  • A colonoscopy is recommended as a screening test for colon cancer in people over the age of 50, or for those who have risk factors for colon cancer.
  • The procedure typically takes between 15 and 30 minutes and is usually done on an outpatient basis.
  • They use disposable material, which make the whole process much safer and hygienic.

Herlicobacter pylori lab test

Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a type of bacteria that can cause inflammation and infection in the stomach and small intestine. Early diagnosis of H. pylori is important because it can lead to more effective treatment and reduce the risk of complications. H. pylori can cause a variety of digestive symptoms, including abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite. It can also increase the risk of developing ulcers and stomach cancer.

3- We make sure that care pathways are optimised

Our aim is for patients to be seen by a specialist within a very short time. You won’t need a referral but if you need one for insurance purposes, we can provide you with one. The current waiting time to see a gastroenterologist is only 24 hours as we have slots reserved for our patients. Avoiding long waiting times for an appointment with a specialist is not only crucial from a medical point of view (we reduce the time to diagnosis by 70%), it also means avoiding unnecessary or duplicate consultations and test bookings, and therefore saves time and reduces costs.
