Honouring Women Transforming Tech
Now in their 15th year, the Everywoman in Technology Awards continue to shine a spotlight on women whose achievements are changing the tech landscape. The awards celebrate the talent, dedication, and leadership of women making strides in traditionally male-dominated fields. Therefore, Laurence’s win is not only a testament to her personal dedication and expertise but also a reflection of the groundbreaking work we’re doing at MeditSimple.
Since the beginning Laurence’s leadership has guided MeditSimple from a bold idea into a thriving digital health company that is reimagining the way patients and healthcare providers connect. Her commitment to simplifying healthcare through smart, intuitive technology has inspired a team of innovators and built a culture rooted in ethics and accessibility. Thanks to her forward thinking approach, MeditSimple has supported over 300,000 patients and enhanced the productivity of more than 8,500 healthcare professionals.
Championing Diversity in STEM
In addition, Laurence has consistently championed the importance of diversity in STEM and has worked to ensure that MeditSimple is a place where ideas thrive regardless of background. Committed to DEI, Laurence actively recruits diverse talent, with 75% of leadership roles and 60% of all roles being held by women. Her recognition by everywoman is especially meaningful as it highlights her as a role model for women in tech, at a time when visibility and representation matter more than ever.
