Who comprises MeditSimple’s AI Ethics Advisory Board?
MeditSimple has assembled a diverse group of experts, including AI, medical, ethics, technology specialists, both internally and externally. This diversity fosters a comprehensive approach to AI ethics, prevents ethics-washing, and encourages meaningful discussions.
We are committed to maintaining an open dialogue with external experts, fostering a culture of accountability and responsibility in the development and deployment of AI in healthcare.
Our esteemed board members also have no financial interests in MeditSimple. This separation means that the Board’s guidance is solely driven by ethical considerations rather than financial incentives. We are extremely grateful for their time to support our responsible AI development.

- William Halfpenny: Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UC San Diego in Ophthalmology, with background in Data Science, Engineering and Medicine, researching the intersection of NLP and semantic technologies, former co-President of the Cambridge AI in Medicine Society

- EH: Managing Partner at one of the best strategic consulting firms, leading the technology practice.
- Frederic Josue: CEO of 18M a corporate strategy consulting firm that specialises in brand communication and new technologies, serving clients like Ferrero, BNP Paribas, Technicolor, and Orange. President of the We Are AI Community in Paris.

- Jane Li: Former co-President of the Cambridge AI in Medicine Society, with background in Data Science, Engineering and Medicine, researching the impact of blood groups on Trauma outcomes.
