Superdrug Health Introduces MeditSimple In Over 80 Health Clinics

MeditSimple and Superdrug join forces to bring Comprehensive Women’s Health Services to the High Street.

Leading health and beauty retailer Superdrug announces a new service with MeditSimple, which will expand the availability of a wide range of female diagnostic tests in over 80 convenient UK high street locations.

The new services use MeditSimple’s AI-powered online platform, which helps reduce the time to diagnosis by streamlining healthcare pathways. Therefore, it helps increase healthcare accessibility for women by introducing a five step process that simplifies both testing and interpreting the results.

The five step process is:

  1. Women can use the MeditSimple online platform to book a blood test in over 80 Superdrug Health Clinics. They don’t need to secure a doctor’s appointment beforehand. A Referral Letter is issued immediately to the patient.
  2. Then Superdrug’s trained and dedicated healthcare staff will collect the sample.
  3. Once reviewed by one of the platform’s GPs, results will be available within 24-72 hours.
  4. However, if any abnormal findings arise, patients will be invited to schedule a consultation with a private GP, either in person or remotely. This will help to clarify the results and provide any necessary prescriptions.
  5. After the consultation, if needed, the prescription will be immediately available on the MeditSimple platform, securely encrypted for patient safety.

Chloe Anderson, Head of Superdrug Healthcare Services comments “By utilising our trained and dedicated healthcare staff to collect blood samples, this new service enables us to offer even more accessibility to patients.
